The three stock exchanges in Pakistan integrated into a single trading platform under the name of “Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited” (PSX). Federal Minister for Finance, Revenue, Economic Affairs, Statistics and Privatization, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar formally inaugurated the new unified exchange on January 11, 2016.
