SECP conducts Workshop on Collaboration with China in Capital Markets

SECP Chairman Akif Saeed chair a workshop to explore potential collaboration in capital markets between Pakistan and China, leveraging the expertise and ideas of financial market experts. Participants reviewed measures for increasing Chinese investment in Pakistan’s capital markets, including cross-listing, collaborative ventures, and the creation of ETFs to provide easier access to Chinese investors. SECP’s Commissioner Securities Market, Abdul Rehman Warraich, senior officials, and experts from capital market infrastructure institutions, brokerage houses, banks, insurance companies, and asset management companies participated.
